About

I’m an adult with autism, or autistic if you prefer. I probably use the latter more often but and I know why I prefer it but with everything going on in my life I don’t have the energy to devote a lot of it to that.  While I like to write I go through long spells of not finding the motivation to. I was a bit slow to catch on to the blogging thing but I hope it will provide me with more momentum. I live in Canada with my dog, computer and the newest addtion to our family the tablet.

All rights reserved to things appearing on my blog that are my own original work. (Those of others will be cited)  If you are going to use my writing on your own site I would prefer it if you ask about that. (Reblogging is okay but if you are going to use it to promote a commercial item or some agenda I would like to have some clue)

I can now be contacted at gareethblog@gmail.com  .

  2. Dear Gareeth
You’ve been quiet these last few days, I hope things are OK? Maybe this will cheer you up – it’s a small thing, but hopefully you’ll smile.
I was surprised with this very cool award, so now I get to nominate some of the bloggers whose musing, writings and rantings are the highlight of my day (or night).

  3. Dear Gareeth

It is me again. You don’t have to do anything I promise, but I wanted you to have this anyway. I hope things will soon look up again.

We need 500 signatures, will one of the signatures be yours?

    thankyou!

    • I will have a look. I sadly do think most of the entertainment industry does not think about this and simply does what is fashionable so I think as a community we need a more direct way to get the message to the actual stars mindlessly following a trend but certainly this is a start.

  5. I also rather say I’m autistic and not I have autism, because it’s a part of who I am and influences everything I think, say, and do. It’s what makes my world what it is, for better or worth.
I read somewhere it’s hard for autistic people to concentrate and complete tasks. Although that may not always be the case, it is with me. I struggle to complete tasks. sometimes I don’t have the energy required either.
I live with my cat and my internet too. animals are an autistic person’s best companions.

  6. Gareeth, your blog is currently included on our Actually Autistic Blogs List (anautismobserver.wordpress.com). Please click on the “How do you want your blog listed?” link at the top of that site to personalize your blog’s description.
    Thank you.

    • Thanks. For letting me know. I had actually forgotten I had left a blog up from the way back when. I filled it out although I feel going with my alien name means I am way down a list where the a’s dominate
